Language Arts: Oral Poem Performance: "The Road Not Taken" Due: Monday, October 8. Students should memorize it LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR. Practice 5-10 minutes every night. Most of the poem should be memorized by now. Remember to use expression as you practice.

Reading: "A Kind of Grace" questions 1-7 on page 468. Students MUST answer the questions in complete sentences, with the question IN the sentences. That means when I read the answer, I will know exactly what the question was while I read it. This is due tomorrow, Friday, October 5. I will come around to collect them. Spelling test Monday!!

Social Studies: A progress note was sent home today. It included any missing homework assignments
Science: Science TEST on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Pixton Comic due Oct. 12 or Saturday before 6:00 pm. Design a comic that compares and contrasts CONDUCTION and CONVECTION. Make sure to have four facts. Write complete sentences. Proof your comic for capitalization, punctuation, spelling and grammar. Use the CLASSIC three frame comic. If you would like to accept the challenge, you must have permission from Ms. King PRIOR to making a larger comic.
