Language Arts: New MyAccess.com Assignment! Persuasive Five Paragraph Essay: Space Shuttle Mission. Due: Monday morning, November 5.
Prompt: Write a five paragraph essay convincing your principal that you
should be the student chosen to represent your school on the next space
shuttle mission. Students should have their first Three paragraphs typed. If not, they are behind and will need to work on their essay at home. Parents: Have your student read to you out loud what they have written. This is the best way to help students figure out what they need to do to improve their writing.

Math: Workbook p. 49-52 if not finished in class. Due 10/23. Progress report signed also due 10/23.

PTA Reflections Contest:
This is not required of all sixth grade students. It is only for those
students who want to participate. The entries are due Monday, October
29. This long weekend would be a good time to work on your projects.
Entering the PTA Reflections Contest counts as one of the Fantastic
Falcon Award points for sixth grade, too. However, you don't have to
win in order to count it for Fantastic Falcon.
