Reading: Students have been told from the beginning of the year to ALWAYS have a silent reading chapter book in their backpack. There will be a preparation check TOMORROW, Thursday, October 11, during reading class. ALL teachers expect students to have a 6th grade level (or higher) reading book at all times in their backpack. Graphic Novels (comic strip) and magazines are not allowed for this requirement.
Science: Pixton Comic due Friday Oct. 12 (or Saturday before 6:00 pm) Re-take test tonight on Edmodo. Re-take vocabulary tomorrow during class.
Math: Homework 2-7. Area of a complex figure. Due 10/11
Social Studies: Complete the people vocabulary paper using your social studies textbook. Due tomorrow -- Thursday.
Language Arts: Oral Poem Performance: "The Road Not Taken." Performances continue this week. Students should have memorized it LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR. Remember to use expression as you perform.
