Can You Pour Sound?

Today in science we talked about convection currents. We did an experiment where it looked like we were pouring sound, but it was really just a convection current. Ask your student to explain the experiment.

Language Arts:  No homework tonight, unless students' essay scores on myaccess.com are low.  They will need to work at home on their essays to improve their scores.  The first essay, "Facing the Impossible," is due Monday morning, September 17.

The following table shows how online essay scores will transfer into grades in Skyward:

5.4/6.0 points = 90% = 90/100 points = A
4.8/6.0 points = 80% = 80/100 points = B
4.2/6.0 points = 70% = 70/100 points = C
