Reading: Spelling test #6 today. If students want to get some credit back they must look the words up on last Monday's blog, write words correctly 7 times in beautiful cursive writing, get it signed, and turn it into their color basket by Wednesday. Not accepted after Wednesday.
New spelling words written 4 times due tomorrow. Test will be next Monday on the following words: (no change/add -ion) construct, construction, connect, connection, attract, attraction 
(drop e/ add -ion) cooperate, cooperation, situate, situation, negotiate, negotiation, insulate, insulation, contribute, contribution

Language Arts:  New MyAccess.com Assignment!  Persuasive Five Paragraph Essay:  Space Shuttle Mission. Due: Monday, November 5.  Prompt: Write a five paragraph essay convincing your principal that you should be the student chosen to represent your school on the next space shuttle mission.

Math:  No Homework!

Science:  Read the "Shiniest Moon" and "Shiny Earth" on Edmodo. Watch "Polar Bear Plight".  Write 1-3 sentences about something that you learned after you click, TURN IN. Make sure that you write complete sentences and that you proof for spelling, grammar, and capitalization mistakes. Finally, take the short quiz about your reading. Due tomorrow.
