Keyboarding: Students will need to have 20 minutes per week outside of school time on EduTyping.  Students will be given some time in class to practice as well.  Students will need 40 minutes from November 2 to 18.  RC will be marked on Monday, November 19 if below 40 minutes for that window of time.  In January, students will be taking a Keyboarding Assessment.  They are graded on speed/accuracy and technique including: feet on the floor for balance, body centered on the "H" key with elbows at sides, sitting up straight, curved fingers over the home row keys, wrists off the keyboard, eyes on the printed copy, keys by touch with correct fingering, keys with a smooth rhythm.

If students would like to earn "half back", the missed words must be written correctly, in cursive, seven times, be signed by a parent, and turned into their color basket by Thursday, 11/8. If students miss a spelling test, it is up to them to have a parent give it to them and bring it to me.
