Can You Pour Sound?

Today in science we talked about convection currents. We did an experiment where it looked like we were pouring sound, but it was really just a convection current. Ask your student to explain the experiment.

Oral Poem Performance: "The Road Not Taken" Due: 10/8.  Students should memorize it  LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR. Practice 5 minutes every night.
Memorization: 20 points
Volume (loud/soft): 20 points
Speed (fast/slow): 20 points
Fluency (smoothness): 20 points
Expression (verbal/facial): 20 points
Total: 100 points


Math:  P. 27-30 if not finished in class.  Most students did finish.  Students should review these pages and work to find the correct answers to the problems they missed in order to study for the test on Unit 1: Ratios and Proportions that is Wednesday, 9/26.

Science: Radiation notes in the science notebook. Type your summary in Edmodo  
 Study your vocabulary words for the upcoming quiz on Monday. Make sure that your notebook is complete and ready to turn in to me. 

 Green ribbon week: Pledge and activity page due Wednesday 9/26 for a PTA treat.
