Reading: Words for next Tuesday's test are made up of a prefix, a base word or root word, and a suffix. As you write your words four times (due on Thursday 1/17), draw a line to separate the parts.

January 22. Remember to say it LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR... especially

SRI: In class today, students looked up the Lexile score of the book they are currently reading. Most students discovered that their current book is BELOW their reading level, or SRI score from their last SRI test. Students are encouraged to find a book on their level by Tuesday, January 22.
Also, Science notes and worksheets on diseases from Ms. King's class due: 1/15. Cornell notes on "Using The Internet" due: 1/15.
Math: 5-6 due 1/15.
Science: Science Vocab. TEST using the SpellingCity app on Edmodo due on or before Thursday of this week.
Social Studies: Edcanvas video #5 Cornell notes due tomorrow. Make sure that you have your notes, a summary, and a question. Proof your writing!
