Language Arts: DOL #5-7 Due: 10/1.  Columbus Wkst. Due: 10/1.

Oral Poem Performance: "The Road Not Taken" Due: 10/8.  Students should memorize it  LOUD, SLOW, and CLEAR. Practice 5-10 minutes every night. Half of the poem should be memorized by now.

     Fluency (smoothness): 20 points

Science: Vocabulary TEST on Monday. Make sure that your science notebook is up-to-date. You have this weekend to improve any grade for this grading block. HEAT TEST Oct. 9. Study a little bit every night!

Can You Pour Sound?

Today in science we talked about convection currents. We did an experiment where it looked like we were pouring sound, but it was really just a convection current. Ask your student to explain the experiment.
