Read 25 minutes: Term 2 is 25 minutes per night/5 nights per week.
Keyboarding: Students will need to have 20 minutes per week outside of school time on EduTyping. Students will be given some time in class to practice as well. Students will need 40 minutes from November 2 to 18. RC will be marked on Monday, November 19 if below 40 minutes for that window of time. In January, students will be taking a Keyboarding Assessment. They are graded on speed/accuracy and technique including: feet on the floor for balance, body centered on the "H" key with elbows at sides, sitting up straight, curved fingers over the home row keys, wrists off the keyboard, eyes on the printed copy, keys by touch with correct fingering, keys with a smooth rhythm.

The students' next essay is based on A Christmas Carol. Students will be writing an essay on which Christmas Spirit was the most influential in changing Scrooge's attitude toward Christmas. Students should come prepared tomorrow, November 14, knowing which spirit they will be writing their essay on.
