Language Arts: Don't forget your prepositions.  We will be taking review tests on them throughout the rest of the year.  The next one will be in December.  Therefore, if you didn't learn them for November... LEARN THEM FOR DECEMBER!!!

A Christmas Carol: If you get a chance to watch  movie or see a live theater production of A Christmas Carol, take advantage of the opportunity.  It will help as you continue to write your essay on "The Spirit Who Was the Most Influential In Changing Scrooge's Attitude."





A Christmas Carol Essay is due on Monday morning, December 10. Students are working on it in class until Thursday, December 6.  It will then be "unlocked," and students will have the weekend to improve their scores. Students may also work on it during writing lab times which are:

Tuesday-Thursday: 8:00-8:30 AM and 3:05-3:30 PM

Math: We reviewed for the benchmark test today.  No homework assigned.  Remember to be working on your stock market page 3-18 the homework side.  It is due on Monday the 10th.


Science/Social Studies (King):     Study for the Microorganisms TEST Dec. 12.

Reading: New spelling words, "More Prefixes" on VocabularySpellingCity app, written four times, due tomorrow. WS 251+252 due tomorrow, except Orange Group has the Compare/Contrast assignment.

A Christmas Carol: If you get a chance to watch  movie or see a live theater production of A Christmas Carol, take advantage of the opportunity.  It will help as you continue to write your essay on "The Spirit Who Was the Most Influential In Changing Scrooge's Attitude."

Spelling: You can find and practice your spelling words using the SpellingCity app. This week's list is called "More Prefixes". New words written four times will be due Thursday, 12/6.



Keyboarding: Students will need to have 20 minutes per week outside of class computer time on EduTyping.  Students will be given some time in class to practice as well.  Next block for a time grade is from December 3 to December 17 and students should have 40 minutes in that block.


Reading:  Rewrite due tomorrow and "Royal Kingdoms" questions 1-7 due. Practice your spelling words.
